  8.         Would you like to have logon scripts for all your favorite BBS's
  9.         but can't seem to get the hang of all that SALT stuff?
  10.  
  11.         Now, you can have all those scripts without knowing the first
  12.         thing about SALT or programing.
  13.  
  14.         RECORD is a recording mode for Telix. It "watches" you as you
  15.         perform your logon.  It notes what text is sent by the system
  16.         you're connected to, and what your responses are.  Using this
  17.         information, it writes a script which will wait for the same
  18.         prompts and send the same responses.  You invoke RECORD as a
  19.         "linked script", log onto the BBS, and RECORD will write the
  20.         script FOR you! That's right, RECORD will write and compile your
  21.         SALT script for you automatically!

  23.         The script that RECORD writes will also put the name of the BBS
  24.         and a clock on the status line if you have one configured in
  25.         Telix. The status line will be restored when you lose carrier.
  26.         If the BBS changes causing the script to fail, it will tell you
  27.         what prompt it was looking for so you know what happend.

  29.         You CAN record an upload and/or downloads and optionally have
  30.         the script delete your successfully uploaded file.(Great for
  31.         mail runs!)

  33.         RECORD will work with any Port and IRQ as long as Telix is
  34.         working correctly with them.
